Learn to Code with AI and Entertainment

Programmatically analyze pop culture with Python & Cursor

About the Class

If you’re interested in music, movies, video games, books, or trends in pop culture, this class shows you how coding is used behind the scenes to understand what people love and why. You’ll learn programming by analyzing real-world data from artists, films, games, and other parts of today’s entertainment landscape. Each week you’ll create fun, interactive projects that turn fresh pop culture data into clear visuals, rankings, and trend breakdowns.

The class is designed for high school students but is open to anyone ages 13 and up, including adults who want a more engaging way to learn to code. No previous experience is needed, and students only need a laptop (Mac or PC).

Homeschool students who take this class along with Learn to Code with AI and Sports, in addition to either Build Your First App or Build Your First Game, can count the combination as a full credit of high school computer science. A syllabus is available for that purpose; contact us to request a copy before the class begins.
