At Bletchley Commons, we want every interaction with our space and website to be a great one. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) help explain how our memberships, facilities, and online tools work so everyone can enjoy a safe and positive experience.

By accessing our website, creating an account, becoming a member, booking a room, or visiting our physical space, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Services.

1. Overview

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Bletchley Institute of Technology Inc ("Bletchley", “Bletchley Commons”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and govern your use of:

  • Our website and online platforms
  • Member accounts and online platforms
  • Our physical space located at 411 University Ridge, Greenville, SC
  • Events, classes, workshops, and any related products or services

Together, these are the “Services”.

These Terms apply to all users of the Services, whether or not you are a member.

2. Membership and Community Rules

By joining Bletchley Commons, you agree to follow our community rules. These may be provided on our website, posted within the space, or communicated by our team. This includes both written guidelines and basic standards of respect and courtesy.

We reserve the right to revoke or suspend memberships for violations of these rules or for behavior that negatively impacts staff or other members. Examples include:

  • Disrespectful or disruptive conduct
  • Harassment or verbal altercations
  • Sleeping in public areas
  • Leaving guests unattended
  • Misusing access credentials
  • Attempting to bypass security systems
  • Any behavior that interferes with others’ ability to work or study

Our goal is to maintain a safe, welcoming community for everyone.

3. Guest Policy

Members may bring guests at no additional cost unless otherwise stated for a specific event or booking. All guests must remain with the member who invited them.

Members are responsible for the behavior and actions of their guests. If we determine that the guest policy is being misused or regularly exceeded, we may limit or restrict guest access for that member.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account portal or by contacting us directly.

  • Month-to-month memberships: If a cancellation request is made within 7 days of the most recent payment, the payment may be refunded. Requests made after 7 days are not eligible for a refund.
  • Annual memberships: Refunds are not available for annual agreements. Your membership remains active until the end of the current term.

All third parties with whom we share data are required to handle it in accordance with applicable data protection laws and this Privacy Policy.

5. Membership Revocation

Bletchley Commons may cancel or refuse membership at our discretion. If we notify you that your membership has been terminated and that we will not reinstate it, future membership is prohibited.

If an individual attempts to rejoin after being banned, we may treat the individual as a trespasser.

6. Weapons Policy

Weapons of any kind are not permitted inside Bletchley Commons. One warning may be issued, after which membership can be canceled.

7. Drug and Alcohol Policy

Drugs and drug paraphernalia are not allowed in the space. Alcohol may only be consumed during official Bletchley Commons–sponsored events that are restricted to those ages 21+.

8. Filming and Photography

To protect the experience of others, filming and photography are not allowed in public areas without prior approval. Recording is permitted in private rooms or designated areas as long as furniture is not moved and other members are not disrupted.

Bletchley Commons may photograph or record events, classes, and community activities held in the space. By entering the premises or participating in our events, you grant Bletchley Commons permission to use your image, likeness, and voice in photographs and recordings for promotional and community purposes. This includes use on our website, social media channels, newsletters, and printed materials.

If you prefer not to appear in any photos or recordings, please notify a staff member, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

9. Access Credentials and User Accounts

Members may receive login credentials to access booking tools or member-only content. You agree to:

  • Keep your account information accurate and up to date
  • Not share your username or password with anyone
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access

Payments for memberships, classes, room bookings, or other Services may be handled through our website. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a one-time or recurring basis, depending on your plan.

Unpaid balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Lost items will be held for up to 30 days. Items not claimed within that period may be discarded.

Only registered service animals are allowed inside Bletchley Commons. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted inside the space.

14. Audio and Visual Information

Bletchley Commons may use security cameras in certain areas to support the safety and security of members, visitors, and staff. Cameras may capture audio and video. This footage may be used to enforce rules, prevent misconduct, and support investigations of incidents.

All content on our website and within our Services is owned by Bletchley Commons or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you post publicly but grant us a nonexclusive, perpetual license to use it to operate or improve our Services.

  • Reverse engineer or manipulate any part of the Services
  • Attempt unauthorized access to restricted areas
